DREAMING OF CHAMPAGNE & STARRY NIGHTS • Sometimes it’s the simple things that get us through the days - the promise of a gorgeous night sky, cooking with the family, cuddles, a glass of Moët (or two), or just a mug of coffee to enjoy every morning … these are the things that add light and joy to the mundane everyday.

I found this picture of an @ilovefoodiesct visit to @zsazsacpt a few years back, and it epitomises so much of the joy I’ve created in my life - exceptional food, fun times with my sister, @sabinepalfi, and the chance to experience adventures I could have only ever dreamed of.

Count the small things. Cumulatively, they matter more than anything else ❤️

FREEDOM • The last week of hot weather in London has brought up memories of skating along the Sea Point promenade in Cape Town, wind through my hair, that fresh ocean smell and the sound of smashing waves all around, and every care in the world disappearing for just that moment in time. That is true freedom 💙

ETHEREAL • There is so much beauty in this world - both natural and man-made - and it’s not uncommon for me to stumble upon a location that takes my breath away. The gorgeous Gloucester Cathedral is one of them 💖 (It’s also one of the filming locations for Harry Potter 😉)

SOUTHEND-ON-SEA • Since summer has made a slight reappearance in London, I’m thinking back to (hotter) summer days a little while back, travelling out to Southend-on-Sea with the lovely @elisaeo10 🥰

Southend has the longest pleasure pier in the world, stretching out just over 2km into the part of the sea where the Thames meets the ocean. Had the absolutely best time exploring this little seaside town, enjoying some good food, walking for ages, and witnessing Google maps telling me I’m in the middle of the ocean 😂
